A Performance Management (PM, for its acronym in English) effectively integrates multiple methodologies such as balanced scorecards, strategy maps, budgets, activity-based management (ABM, for its acronym in English), forecasting and capacity planning of resources. Are they just fads or relevant solutions can be? It has been said of the performance management is the new salvation for aligning resources and adjust the strategy of an organization to individual actions. But does it really work? How popular is the concept in government or business environments?
