Information Management

Labels:

Information management is new in the UT. The information management function is then designed to ensure consistency and coherence be achieved between the business and information processes of the various task fields (education, research and valorisation) firstly, the various management functions (personnel, financial, communications, facilities, etc.) on the other and the use of information and communication technologies to support the processes. Under the plans, the focus of information management to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes, focusing on the strategic goals of the university and the faculties. The evaluation shows that information management is still developing. It is not clear to everyone what the task is management of information. The Board is convinced of the added value of information management but it is important that there is clarity in mission and expectations. The Board finds, and, perhaps a nuance compared to the original plans EMB, the information manager that focuses on ICTs and their deployment should be directed. He is policy adviser to the College in the ICT field. The Board proposes to abandon a role for the information manager in the process of demand, with the exception of generic demand in the field of ICT. This role is there for the director of operations, as defined in section 1, but as a process manager.
